​Funds provided by the Scott County Fiscal Court and the Kentucky Division of Conservation are channeled through the District to assist landowners with projects designed to benefit the environment or address environmental concerns.

There are on-going programs and specific sign-up period programs.

*Applications for Alternative Water Sources, Livestock Exclusion Fencing, Heavy Use Areas, Riparian Area Re-Establishment are reviewed for approval at the next monthly Board of Supervisors' meeting. These projects are cost shared at 50% of receipts.

*Applications for Gateway(s), Barn Access & Heavy Traffic Corridor Erosion Control Program approved at time of applying as funding is available. The cost-share rate is $1.10/sqft up to 650sqft per project.

*Sign-up period programs include Cover Crop, Pasture Renovation and Fall Reseeding depending upon severity of drought. The cost-share rate is determined by the Board prior to program application period.

** Accumulated maximum cost share is capped at $3,750.00 per farm/per individual per fiscal year (July 1 - June30).
